Neutral Neutral: The Science of Magic

Short Summary:
Sunset has put together a bunch of equipment in the music room much to her friendship confusion. She wants them all to be 'rehearsing,' because she wants to study them. She found she worked best as Celestia's student by getting her 'hooves' dirty over reading books.
Sunset wants to figure out how magic works on Earth. Why the girls grow ears, tails, and wings when they 'pony up' and why it's connected to their instruments.
What happens is they play instruments and various magical shenanigans happen. Magic seems to overload the tech and manifests in various ways. From magical butterflies to apples to rainbow blasts and floating even without wings and Sunset just gets hit with a lot of very, very colorful things.
And after all that testing, Sunset determines she has no idea how magic works in this world and passes out because exhausted ow.
